Rt. 95 Crash In Richmond: Exeter Man Struck And Killed
R.I. State Police say Clark Reynolds, 64, was walking on the highway at night when he was struck by a tractor-trailer.
RICHMOND, RI— An Exeter man is dead after being struck by a tractor-trailer in the northbound lane of Rt. 95 early Tuesday.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., Rhode Island State Troopers and Hope Valley Fire and Rescue responded to a crash on Route 95 North involving a tractor trailer and a pedestrian.
A 2019 International operated by Norberto Gonzalez, 40, of New Haven was traveling in the low-speed lane of the highway in Richmond. About a half-mile north of Exit 3, the truck struck a pedestrian who was in the travel lane. Clark W. Reynolds, 64, of Exeter, was pronounced deceased at the scene by medics with Hope Valley Rescue, Rhode Island State Troopers said in a release.

Troopers from the State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit, Commercial Enforcement Unit and Forensic Services Unit also responded.
It's the fourth Rt. 95 fatality in recent days.
