The installation contains a full picture book story with interactive prompts. All are invited to a Friday ribbon-cutting.
WARWICK, RI — The Warwick Public Library is doing its part to encourage children and families to read books.
On Friday, a new 'StoryWalk' will be unveiled at City Park. The outdoor walk contains a full picture book story with interactive prompts. The installation is designed to encourage a love for reading, introduce families to nature, and create a strong sense of community.
A May 28 ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 11 a.m. at the gazebo at City Park at Steven Steven O'Connor Boulevard.

Mayor Frank Picozzi, representatives from the Rhode Island Foundation, acting superintendent Lynn Dambruch, library director Jana Stevenson and children's librarian Ellen O’Brien are expected to attend.
