Three Men Hospitalized Following Easter Morning Crash In Warwick
A man, 23, is in critical condition after police say his Acura crossed the center line on Elmwood Ave. and hit a Subaru head-on.

WARWICK, RI — Three young men were hospitalized following an Easter morning crash in the area of 1909 Elmwood Ave.
At around 2:46 a.m., Warwick police responded to a report of a crash involving a Subaru SUV and a four-door Acura sedan. Officers found an unresponsive man, 23, trapped inside the Acura. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

Police also found a man, 25, lying on the sidewalk of the northbound lane and another man, 25, standing next to him. Both were alert and conscious. The man lying on the sidewalk was identified as the driver of the Subaru and the other man was his passenger. Both men were treated on scene and taken to Rhode Island Hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
An initial investigation shows the southbound Acura crossed the center lines and into the northbound lane when it struck the Subaru SUV head-on. There are currently no identified witnesses to this crash, according to a release from Captain Joel Thomas of the Warwick Police Department.

The department’s crash reconstruction team is investigating. Police said at this point, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
