Warwick Firefighters Rescue Kayakers Drifting Off Conimicut Point
The fire department launched a boat around 4:45 p.m. in response to a call of two kayakers in distress and struggling to reach the shore.
WARWICK, RI — The Warwick fire department today responded to a report of kayakers in distress off Conimicut Point. Engine 4 launched a boat at round 5:45 p.m. and a caller reported kayakers struggling to get to the shore, New England Areawide (NEFB) reported on Zello.
Both parties were on the boat and headed back to shore by 6 p.m.
