Warwick Stop & Shop To Offer Johnson & Johnson Covid Vaccine

WARWICK, RI - More than a dozen Stop & Shop locations across Rhode Island have been approved to start administering COVID-19 vaccinations, and the store at 2470 Warwick Ave. is one of four that will offer the Johnson & Johnson single-dose shot only.

Eligible individuals must live, work, or attend school in Rhode Island. Those currently eligible for the shot include health care workers, first responders, those living and working in congregate settings, adults 60 and older, pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers, staff and licensed childcare providers and people aged 18-64 with underlying health conditions.

If you want to get the shot at Stop & Shop, you must sign up online. People are being asked not to visit or call their local Stop & Shop seeking information or an appointment. Instead, go to www.stopandshop.com/covid-vacc... and sign up. The shots will be administered at no out-of-pocket cost.

The grocery chain says strict disinfecting and sanitizing protocols are in place. Customers will be required to wear a mask. Flu, pneumonia, and shingles vaccines are also available at Stop & Shop.
