Woman Pulled From Water At Warwick Beach Has Died

The 50-year-old Providence woman was retrieved from a beach at the end of Nausauket Road.

WARWICK, RI — A 50-year-old woman pulled from shallow water at a Warwick beach Wednesday afternoon has died.

At around 4 p.m., Warwick police and fire responded to the beach at the end of Nausauket Road. An unresponsive woman was retrieved from the water. Responders initiated CPR and transported her to Kent Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim was identified as Bauk Keo of Providence. The cause and manner of her death
will be determined by the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s office. Warwick Police Captain Andrew P. Sullivan said the nature of the incident does not appear to be suspicious.
