2021 Westerly Town Beach Stickers Now Available
The rules are strict - parking at Town Beach is reserved for residents and taxpayers only.

WESTERLY, RI — This Rhode Island community's beaches are second-to-none, and certain lovely sections of the shore, including the Misquamicut State Beach, are open to paying members of the general public.
However, if you want to buy a parking pass at the Westerly Town Beach, you must be a taxpayer or year-round resident — and stickers are now available for the 2021 season.
Applications may be downloaded from the recreation department's website. The application must be mailed in with a check, a self-addressed stamped envelope, and required documentation. Applicants must include a copy of their driver's license and a copy of their current DMV vehicle registration. If applicable, renters must provide proof of a year-long lease.

Seniors must be 62 at the time of application. Members of the military must provide an active military ID in addition to their driver's license. People with disabilities must provide a copy of a current state letter from the Social Security office, with no exceptions.

Checks should be made out to Town of Westerly and mailed to Town of Westerly, 45 Broad St., Westerly RI 02891. The standard seasonal rate is $80. Senior citizens, disabled individuals, and members of the military are eligible for $45 passes.
Those who prefer may drop their application into the drop box outside of Westerly Town Hall at 45 Broad Street. In any event, it could take up to two weeks to process your application. Your pass will be non-transferable.
People who do not meet eligibility requirements for a Westerly Town Beach parking pass should consider purchasing a pass to Wuskenau Town Beach, otherwise known as "New Town Beach."
Note that a Westerly Town Beach sticker is also good at Wuskenau and Larkin Road. All questions about town-owned beaches should be directed to the Recreation Beach Department at (401) 348-2784.
