Ocean House Collection In Westerly Welcomes New Managing Director

WESTERLY, RI — Ocean House Collection, one of New England's leading luxury hospitality brands, has announced the appointment of Dant Hirsch as President and Managing Director.

"Dant has the leadership track record, the creativity and the vision to successfully lead this extraordinary collection of properties and our associates," said hotel group founders Charles and Deborah Royce in a news release. "His understanding of the luxury hotel industry enables him to provide a strategic direction for our capable team members, create exceptional and innovative experiences for our guests, serve our local community, and help position the organization for the future."

The Royces launched the hotel group in 2010 with the redevelopment of Ocean House, a Forbes Triple Five-Star hotel located at Watch Hill in Westerly. The group's portfolio now includes the Five-Star Weekapaug Inn, Watch Hill Inn, Preserve Sporting Club & Residences in Richmond, and the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Hirsch comes with strong experience in the world of luxury hospitality. He has held top positions at Six Senses Hotels Resorts and Spas, The Dominick, and Faena Hotel Miami Beach. At COMO Hotels and Resorts, he led a multimillion-dollar renovation and repositioning of Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos. Early in his career, he ran St. Regis Hotels and Resorts in Miami and Kauai, and held leadership positions with the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota and Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Resort in British Colombia.

Hirsch will begin at Ocean House Collection on June 16. He and his wife Ana Maria and son Hayden will reside in the Westerly area.
