Kanopy offers a broad selection of more than 30,000 films including quality documentaries, feature films, foreign language films and training videos from producers including PBS, BBC, The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses and thousands of independent filmmakers. Films can be streamed via westerlylibrary.kanopy.com or by downloading the Kanopy mobile app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Roku or Chromecast.
 
Getting Started:

Find out what's happening in Westerlyfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

  • Visit westerlylibrary.kanopy.com. 
  • Select "LOG IN TO WESTERLYLIBRARY."
  • Type in your library barcode and pin.
  • Click "Sign Up" at the top right of the page.
  • Enter your name, email address, and password. This password must be created specifically for Kanopy.
  • Visit your email and respond to the email verification so that Kanopy knows it's you.
  • Once verified, you will be redirected to the Kanopy home page where you can start watching! 

Note: You can access Kanopy from any device, including iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, or Roku.

How it Works:

  • Library cardholders are entitled to 7 checkouts per month. You will receive 7 play credits every month.
  • The checkout is active for a three-day period.
  • No overdue fees
  • Items are automatically returned to the library at the end of the lending period. 
  • Your play credits reset on the 1st of each month.
