Westerly Library & Wilcox Park: Virtual Tour Of RI State House – And Bonus Chat With State Librarian!

Please join us for a virtual tour of the RI State House as well as a chat with the State Librarian!

Registration is required. Please register by Wednesday, March 24th. You will receive a Zoom invitation the morning of the program.

Lane Sparkman, Associate Director of Education and Public Programs will take attendees on a virtual tour of the Rhode Island State House. The tour features three-dimensional photographs of all the major rooms in the building, and many close-up views of areas like the mural inside the dome and the State Library ceiling.  Attendee questions are encouraged!

After the tour, State Librarian Megan Hamlin-Black will discuss the State Library’s evolution from what had been primarily a research space to a dynamic civic space, used for presentations, workshops, research, and other types of public engagement.
