Westerly Woman Charged With Selling Xanax
Kayla B. White of 15 Lorraine Rd. was arrested Monday after detectives executed a controlled drug buy and obtained a warrant.
WESTERLY, RI — A local woman was arrested on a drug distribution charge Monday afternoon after police executed a warrant at her 15 Lorraine Road home.

Earlier this month, Westerly police set up a controlled buy of ten 2-milligram Xanax pills from Kayla B. White, 25, after an undercover informant told police that White was selling the drug, Police Chief Shawn Lacey told Patch. Xanax is a stimulant known generically as Alprazolam.

A warrant was obtained for White's arrest and she was picked up and charged. She was due to be arraigned in district court today.
