State Bomb Squad Investigates Scare At West Warwick Group Home

A Tuesday night 911 call closed down West Warwick Avenue, but the state bomb squad found no credible threat inside a group home.

WEST WARWICK — The Rhode Island State Bomb Squad determined there was no credible threat after responding to a bomb scare inside a group home at the corner of Capron Street and West Warwick Avenue on Tuesday night.

A person called 911, West Warwick police and fire departments responded, the home was cleared, and the bomb squad investigated before declaring that there was no threat.
