1. Two Massachusetts men will serve a combined 31 years in prison for a 2019 shooting in Providence. Dajour Hutchins, 23, and Robert Sudue, 27, pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a shooting at Club Flow that seriously injured one person. (Patch)
2. Rhode Island Health Officials say a case of the rare tick-borne virus Powassan has been identified in Rhode Island. Only four cases have been identified in the state in the past decade. (Patch)

3. Climate Action Road Island gathered outside the new Chase Bank location in Smithfield Monday to protest the company's role in funding fossil fuels. The protest involved activists holding up signs and delivering a book on climate change to the branch manager. (Patch)
4. Health officials are warning residents of a blue-green algae bloom at Georgiaville Pond in Smithfield and say similar blooms could be affecting other bodies of water in Rhode Island. All recreational activities should be avoided at Georgiaville Pond until further notice. (Patch)
5. Three gun bills will be heard by the Rhode Island House and Senate today. The first would prohibit anyone from having a gun on school grounds except for police or security, the second would ban anyone from buying and transferring a gun to someone who can't legally own one, and the third would require the attorney general's office to report the number of cases involving guns.
