2017 Pell Medal Goes To 61 RI High School and College Students

The high school and college students won for excellence in U.S. History.

WOONSOCKET, RI — The Herbert and Claiborne Pell Medal for U.S. History went to 61 Rhode Islanders this year. The medal, originally presented by Senator Claiborne Pell and his wife, Mrs. Nuala Pell, recognizes college and high school students in the state who have excelled in U.S. History. Here are the winners.
