Bullets Hit Child's Bedroom In Woonsocket: Police

Police say bullet fragments were found in multiple rooms of a home on Bourdon Boulevard Sunday.

WOONSOCKET, RI —Woonsocket police said bullets hit a home on Bourdon Boulevard Sunday and traveled into a child's bedroom, reported NBC 10 News.

Officers responded to the home for a report of shots fired and found bullet fragments in the kitchen and child's bedroom, said police.

The mother told police she woke up after hearing several loud bangs, but assumed it was just fireworks. However, when she went to check on her son, she found holes in the walls and water on the floor.
