Christmas Tree Curbside Collection Starts Jan. 2
Residents can also bring artificial trees with a metal core to the Recycle Facility.

From the City of Woonsocket: The City of Woonsocket announced today that curbside pickup for discarded Christmas trees will be available this season for Woonsocket residents. Trees will be collected on normally scheduled trash pick-up days beginning on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 and ending on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Trees must not be wrapped in any type of plastic nor have any ornaments or decorations left on them. Place the discarded trees in front of your property around the sidewalk area next to trash and recycle receptacles. Please, kindly leave enough room around the sidewalk area for pedestrians.
Artificial Christmas trees with a metal core can be brought to the City Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:15 pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 11:45am.
