Expanded Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing In Woonsocket
The drive-thru and walk-up new coronavirus testing hosted by Thundermist Health Center on Clinton Street could perform 170 tests per day.

WOONSOCKET, RI — New Coronavirus testing will be expanded in Woonsocket with a drive-thru location on Clinton Street that could perform up to 170 tests per day.
Thundermist Health Center will be the local host of the site, which will also be walk-up accessible. There will be no out-of-pocket expense for testing at the outdoor tent facility. Residents must make an appointment, but do not have to be a Thundermist Health Center patient.
Signage will be posted in multiple languages with all personal information, including immigration status according to Gov. Gina Raimondo, remaining confidential.

The town-by-town list of cases the Rhode Island Department of Health provided on Monday reported 427 known coronavirus cases in Woonsocket — which puts the city eighth most in the state behind Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston, Central Falls, North Providence, East Providence and Warwick.
Those with COVID-19 symptoms are encouraged to contact Thundermist Health for an appointment at 401-767-4100. Symptoms are known to include: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, fatigue, muscle aches, runny nose, diarrhea, vomiting and loss of taste or smell.
