The fire broke out on Social Street at approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A fire significantly damaged a home on Social Street in Woonsocket Wednesday morning, said Fire Chief Paul Shatraw.
Firefighters responded to the scene at approximately 11 a.m. and found heavy flames coming from the third floor of the home.
“It was a little bit challenging because there was only one entrance up to the third floor through the back of the building,” Shatraw told reporters at the scene.
