Foundation to Give Musical Instruments to Middle School
The middle school students will receive the instruments, but the ceremony is at the high school.

WOONSOCKET, RI—Domenic Izzi, Jr., was killed by a drunk driver. His family started a foundation in his memory to benefit aspiring young musicians. Izzi was on his way home from a musical performance when the accident happened. He was an accomplished musician and photographer, his family said.
Over the years, the Domenic A. Izzi, Jr. Foundation has "made numerous contributions of musical instruments to young students," according to Blake Collins, the city's business outreach and public relations coordinator. On Wednesday, May 3, at a special event at Woonsocket High School, the foundation will be donating 20 musical instruments to Woonsocket Middle School students.
"This will be one of the last contributions the foundation will make," Collins said.
