Community Care Alliance is holding information sessions to dispel the myths around being a foster parent and to answer questions regarding their Therapeutic Foster Care program. Placements for children of all ages are needed on both a permanent and part-time/respite basis. Individuals or couples may apply and ongoing training and support is provided. To learn more about this opportunity to help a child call 401-235-6061, and/or attend one of the following information sessions: at the Scituate Community House, 546 West Greenville Road, N. Scituate, RI; from 6:00 – 7:00PM on January 30th, February 27th, March 27th, and April 24th. Sessions will also be held at the Cumberland Library, 1464 Diamond Hill Road in Cumberland from 6:00 – 7:00PM on February 14, March 14, April 11, and May 9th.
