No Garbage & Recycling Collections On Christmas

WOONSOCKET, RI - From the Office of the Mayor of Woonsocket: In the observance of Christmas, the Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility hours will be as follows:

Monday, December 25 – closed, no trash or recycling collection

The week of December 25 through December 29 will have a one day delay for trash and recycling collection.

Residents are reminded that holiday wrapping paper is recyclable. Excess recyclables including cardboard and paper can be brought to the Woonsocket Material Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street FREE of charge for all Woonsocket residents. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 7 am-3:15 pm and Saturday 8 am -11:45 am.

Any excess waste or overloaded trash carts will not be collected.
