Obituary: Michael J. Heiss, 55

Michael J. Heiss, 55, of Hayes Street, died Tuesday at the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the husband of Barbara D. (Lima) Heiss.

Born in Providence, he was a son of Edna L. (Cook) Heiss and the late Joseph A. Heiss, Sr.

Mike was a supervisor for Kinney Manufacturing Company for eighteen years before retiring due to illness in 2009.

He served his country proudly in the National Guard.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves four daughters, Elizabeth, Tina, Jennifer and Amy; two brothers, Joseph A. Heiss, Jr. and Anthony J. Heiss; a sister, Susan C. Gustafson and her daughter, Laura S. Gustafson.

The funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, Warwick.
