Ocean State Job Lot Opens New Woonsocket Store

The ribbon cutting is Saturday at 10.

From Ocean State Job Lot: Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL), a leading discount closeout retailer headquartered in Rhode Island with stores throughout New England, New Jersey, and New York, celebrates the relocation grand opening of its Woonsocket, Rhode Island store located at 1919 Diamond Hill Road. This 47,000 sq. ft. location, a former Walmart, is Ocean State Job Lot’s 16th location in the state, and replaces its 1500 Diamond Hill Road Location. Ocean State Job Lot will host a grand opening celebration on March 31st to include a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Woonsocket Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt, Ocean State Job Lot executives and Woonsocket Store Manager Robert Shammo, as well as a presentation of $500 to the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation’s “Close to Our Heart” recipient: New Beginnings at All Saints Parish, a local organization which provides hot meals to Woonsocket residents four days per week. Lite Rock 105 will also be broadcasting with Amy Pontes live throughout the morning.

Store hours are 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Store phone: 401-214-5224.
