Pharmaceutical Sales Company Will Occupy Former Lowe's Home Improvement on Diamond Hill Road

WOONSOCKET, RI—Surplus Solutions, LLC will move into the former Lowe’s on Diamond Hill Road. According to Blake Collins, spokesman for the city, Surplus Solutions is relocating a laboratory, biotech, and pharmaceutical equipment sales company to Woonsocket.

Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt said she is pleased about the new arrival.

"The introduction of a new business, like SSLLC, into our community strengthens our local economy and represents continued momentum for Woonsocket," she said. "This property in particular offers great opportunity to operate, expand, and invest in."

The major indicated the state will pay out incentives to Surplus Solutions but did not specify the amount.

"Rhode Island has benefited from strategic incentives like the Qualified Jobs Incentive Tax Credit, which has helped attract businesses to our state," she said.
