Rebuild Woonsocket To Host First Ever Pride Event
The celebration will take place Monday, June 28 at 7 p.m.
WOONSOCKET, RI — Rebuild Woonsocket, an organization working to reshape city politics by fighting for equality and mobilizing the community, is hosting its first-ever Pride Celebration on Monday, June 28 at 7 p.m.
In celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of Stonewall, the evening will feature live performances, local artistic talent, speeches from local community leaders, and an act with the rainbow flags.
The event will take place rain or shine at River Island Art Park, located at 1 South Main Street. Participants are asked to wear their favorite Pride clothes and register in advance by clicking here.

Rebuild Woonsocket is hosting this Pride event in coordination with Silence is Violence: 401, the Progress Report, the Not 1 More Campaign, the Milagros Project RI, the W.A.T.C.H. Coalition, and other LGBTQIA+ community members.
