1. Rebuild Woonsocket is hosting its first-ever Pride Celebration on Monday, June 28 at 7 p.m. The event will feature live performances, local artistic talent, speeches from local community leaders, and an act with the rainbow flags. (Patch)

2. Rhode Island lawmakers approved a bill extending to-go alcohol in the state until March 2022. The bill now heads to Gov. Dan McKee's desk for approval. (Patch)

3. The Rhode Island Film and TV Office announced that Kyra Sedgwick is directing a film in the Ocean State. The film, Space Oddity, was written by Rebecca Banner and is the second film directed by Sedgwick. (Patch)

4. A Pawtucket police officer who shot a man in West Greenwich while off-duty has been placed on administrative leave. The officer allegedly shot and injured the 18-year-old on Nooseneck Hill Road Wednesday night. (Patch)

5. The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 32 new coronavirus cases and zero deaths Wednesday. The positivity rate was 0.5 percent and 27 people were hospitalized for COVID-related reasons. (NBC 10 News)
