Red Cross Helping 3 Families Following Woonsocket Fire
The fire took place Friday at a multi-family home on Front Street.

WOONSOCKET, RI — The American Red Cross is helping three families, including six adults and five children, following a fire that took place Friday on Front Street in Woonsocket, said the organization in a news release.
The Red Cross provided the victims with assistance to meet their immediate needs and envelopes containing information to help them recover from the fire, including tips on cleanup, reaching out to important contacts, and dealing with damaged items.
The residents were also given comfort kits containing personal care items and other things they may need after being suddenly displaced.
