Rhode Island Needs E-Verify

Rhode Island’s General Assembly will be ending its session soon. Senate bill S-0054 (E-Verify) has been languishing in the Judiciary committee since its introduction on January 18th.

Rhode Island needs E-Verify legislation. RI Senate bill S-0054 needs your input to get advanced! Please help get this passed! The federal government and its contractors use E-Verify. Two-thirds of RI’s cities and towns use E-verify. But the state’s largest employer, the state itself, does not. It’s disgusting that our tax dollars are going to illegal aliens as wages or benefits and government is doing little or NOTHING to stop it!

The U.S. Congress created immigration laws to protect and defend America, her people, and her culture. Efforts to obstruct and/or nullify these laws must be called what they are; anarchy! Anarchy to favor individuals in our country illegally!

Work wages and benefits are diminished by the availability of this illegal workforce. Not using E-verify means upwards of 5M U.S. jobs are lost to American workers. They’re then forced to seek social benefits that may also be diminished or unavailable.

Responsibility for the pain and suffering caused by illegal aliens is owned by a small group while we all share the consequences, directly or indirectly! Remind YOUR elected representatives that America belongs to the Americans they have sworn an oath to protect and serve! America can be kind and generous without being stupid!
