Here are the top five stories in Woonsocket today:

1. Rhode Island State Police have blamed the Rhode Island Department of Transportation for two nighttime crashes at the intersection of I-95 and Route 1462, claiming that the area currently has a "hazardous traffic pattern." (Patch)

2. A Cranston man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possessing and distributing child pornography. Robert Soares pleaded guilty to the charges against him. (Patch)

3. Gov. Dan McKee said the mass vaccination sites at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence and the former Benny’s in Middletown will close on June 26. (WPRI)

4. Rhode Island health officials are warning residents and visitors that 2021 may be a bad season for ticks. People are encouraged to avoid wooded areas with high grass and leaves, wear long sleeves and long pants when outside, and remove any ticks with tweezers. (NBC 10 News)

5. Rhode Island reported three COVID-19-related deaths and 41 new cases. The state's total number of cases is now 151,936. (NBC 10 News)
