Rubbish and Recycling Schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

The rubbish and recycling pickup schedule will not operate on a regular schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Rubbish and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the week of Monday, Jan. 19 to Friday, Jan. 23, according to Michael Debroisse, the City of Woonsocket’s superintendent of Solid Waste/Engineering Division.
Residents are reminded to not place plastic bags in the recycle carts. Plastic bags can be returned to big-box retailers.

Plastic bags and recycling can also be brought to the Woonsocket Recycle Facility, 943 River St.
