Trash And Recycling Holiday Pickup

No collections Monday due to MLK Holiday

WOONSOCKET, RI - From the Office of the Mayor of the City of Woonsocket: In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the City of Woonsocket announced there will be no curbside trash or recycling collection on Monday, January 15. Curbside trash and recycling collection will be delayed by one day during the week of January 15 through January 19. The Woonsocket Recycle Facility, located at 943 River Street, will be closed on Monday, January 15.

As a reminder, plastic bags are not recyclable so they are not to be discarded in the recycle carts. Plastic bags CAN be returned to the Woonsocket Recycle Facility for proper recycling or to many local retailers. Extra recycling may also be brought to the Woonsocket Recycle Facility located at 943 River Street.
