Two New Businesses Cut Ribbons Wednesday & Work Started On A Skate Park
Wednesday was a very busy day for ribbon cutting. Woonsocket broke ground on a new skate park, and two new businesses opened.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Woonsocket was a happening place on Wednesday. City officials broke ground on a new skate park, which will stand next to the middle school. Also, a new cafe opened on Front Street and Aero Trampoline cut the ribbons on a new indoor trampoline park and arcade on Diamond Hill Road.
Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Aroma CT Café
The first stop for the mayor and some other community leaders was 17 Front St., at 11 a.m. That's where Aroma CT Café was to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of their grand opening. Owners Toni Germanos and Charlie Khalil have opened the doors at Woonsocket’s newest small business, the City said.

City of Woonsocket Breaks Ground on New Skate Park
At noon, civic and community leaders were gathering at noon at the Hamlet Avenue site of the Woonsocket Skate Park to mark the beginning stages of construction. Excavation and paving will be completed over the coming weeks. The park is next to the Woonsocket Middle School.

Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Aero Trampoline Park
Then at 1 p.m., Aero Trampoline Park's ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of their grand opening was scheduled. Johnny Chen, the owner, and Lisa Tam and Chris Garcia, general managers, have opened the park and arcade at 1500 Diamond Hill Road.
