Veterans Day Ceremony Set For Nov. 11

The observance will be held at the Museum of Work and Culture.

From the City of Woonsocket: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt, along with the United Veterans Council, announces the annual observance of Veterans Day will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Museum of Work & Culture, 42 South Main Street. Participants will include local dignitaries and the Woonsocket Police and Fire Department Honor Guards. This event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.

Immediately following the ceremony, the Museum of Work & Culture will hold its annual Veterans Day event. There will be no charge to veterans and their families. The City’s Veteran’s Advisor, Ernest Boisvert, will be available to assist veterans or their families that may have questions or need assistance applying for VA benefits.

“Please join us on November 11th to celebrate our nation’s veterans who have selflessly served our country,” Mayor Baldelli-Hunt stated.
