Portsmouth police closed lanes on West Main Road after a water main broke Thursday afternoon, and Woonsocket is dealing with one on Elm.
WOONSOCKET, RI—Woonsocket police are advising drivers to avoid Elm Street where work crews are repairing a water main break.
Portsmouth police also posted a travel alert about West Main Road, where a water main broke Thursday afternoon. That happened around Union Street and affected travel to the Middletown line.
Water Division is repairing a water main break on Elm Street. Customers may experience interruptions in service. Avoid travel on Elm St.
