Rough Roof:Â The budget commission voted on Monday to approve an RFP for roof repairs to City Hall after Public Works Director Sheila McGauvran recalled finding a punchbowl used as a rain-catcher.
Your Ticket to Fun: The 2013 Summer Festival at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish opens Wednesday, July 31 at 6 p.m. at the church grounds at Park Square and it continues through Saturday, August 3.
Opening night will feature a "ride-all-the-rides" special which will allow festival goers to sample all the rides for one low price.
Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
