Woonsocket Event To Benefit Late Firefighter's Family

Firefighters in Woonsocket will hold a Beer and Dynamite fundraiser to benefit the family of firefighter Jeff Henault, who died in June.

WOONSOCKET, RI — City firefighters are hosting a fundraising event to benefit the family of Woonsocket firefighter Jeff Henault, who died in June. The "Beer and Dynamite" event is set for Saturday, Oct. 5, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Cercle Laurier, located at 165 East School St. The event will feature a live disc jockey and raffles.

Henault is the former president of Woonsocket Firefighters Local 732. His death was announced on June 22, according to a report by WLNE-TV/ABC 6.

The fundraiser is being organized by Woonsocket Local 732. Proceeds will go to Jeffrey Henault Memorial Fund to benefit his wife Andrea, son Sal and daughter Ava.

The $20 tickets can be purchased at the Woonsocket fire station, at the Rhode Island State Association of Firefighters Office, or can be bought at the door the day of the event. For more information, call Mike Lataille at 401-692-0215 or Chris Dubois at 401-595-4185.
