Woonsocket Fire: Help Shovel Out The Hyrdants
The Woonsocket Fire Department is happy to take the public's help clearing fire hydrants after the plows go by during this week's storms.

WOONSOCKET, RI — With up to five inches of snow falling in interior Rhode Island Sunday night, and up to six more inches expected Monday night, Woonsocket Firefighters are asking residents to help shovel out hydrants after the plows push snow off the street.
"Once the DPW finishes their cleanups of the city streets, our firefighters are out checking hydrants to make sure they are clear and easily accessible," Woonsocket RI Firefighters posted on their Facebook page. "Any help we get clearing out some of these hydrants is greatly appreciated! Stay safe and warm everyone."
A parking ban remains in effect in Woonsocket through Tuesday, or until a determination is made to lift it.
