Woonsocket Little League Celebrates Opening Day Saturday on New Field
It's an exciting year for Woonsocket Little League with a new field at World War II Memorial Park and a merger in the softball division.

WOONSOCKET, RI—Woonsocket Little League celebrates Opening Day this Saturday at 10 a.m. sharp on Lajoie Field, the city's new baseball field at World War II Memorial Park.
There will be a brief speaking program, parade representing all teams and more.
This year marks the first year following a merger between Woonsocket and Blackstone-Millville softball.

Games are planned for Lajoie Field at noon, Ayotte Field at noon and Hartnett Field at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

*Parade line up begins at 9:15 am at the park's new basketball courts. Please have your child there no later than 9:30am.

Social Street, Woonsocket
TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL PHOTOS:
Team and individual photos will be taken at Leo Savoie Elementary School on Mendon Road. Please enter through the back of the school.
Pictures will be taken before and after the parade; click on the link below to view the photo session schedule. You should arrive about 10 minutes before your child's team's scheduled photo time. Teams will be called into the school as a group. If you haven't received a picture order form yet, you can pick then up at Hartnett Field’s concession stand any night during the week while games are being played.
LEAGUE T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS:
We'll be taking orders at Leo Savoie during the photo sessions for those those would like to place an order.
T-shirts are $13 // Sweatshirts are $25
Any size over an extra large is an additional $5. Only cash or checks made out to WLL are accepted.
