Woonsocket Man Accused Of Child Molestation
Jordan Aponte is facing one count each of first-degree child molestation and second-degree child molestation.
WOONSOCKET, RI — A Woonsocket man has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury on child molestation charges, said Attorney General Peter F. Neronha in a news release Tuesday.
Jordan Aponte, 22, is facing one count each of first-degree child molestation and second-degree child molestation, said Neronha.
Prosecutors say the charges against Aponte stem from alleged acts that occurred in Woonsocket on various dates between September 10, 2012 and September 10, 2015. The investigation was conducted by the Woonsocket Police Department.

Aponte is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7 in Providence County Superior Court.
