1. A Woonsocket man died early Sunday morning following a shooting on Cheshire Street in Providence. The man has been identified as 24-year-old Abdoulaye Dialla. (Patch)
2. The City of Woonsocket has announced that its Fourth of July fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 3 at WWII Memorial Park. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9 p.m. (Patch)
3. A new bill sponsored by Sen. Ryan W. Pearson would establish the Ocean State Climate Adaptation and Resilience Fund. The fund would enable communities and the state to apply for grants to improve public safety and community climate resilience for coastal habitats and river and stream floodplains. (Patch)
4. Janet Coit, the former director of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, has been selected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to lead NOAA Fisheries as the assistant administrator. She will be under the management of former RI Gov. Gina Raimondo. (Patch)
5. The Rhode Island Department of Health reported 14 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths on Tuesday. The total number of known cases in the state is now 152,443. (NBC 10 News)
