2. A Woonsocket man has been sentenced to serve four years in state prison after pleading to an illegal firearm charge. Tahkell Holland, 24, pleaded nolo contendere in Providence County Superior Court to one count of carrying a pistol without a license. (Patch)

3. Rhode Island Public Transit Authority buses are back to operating at full capacity for the first time since the start of the pandemic. The decision was made following the latest CDC guidance. (Patch)

4. The Rhode Island Department of Health sent 200,000 COVID-19 test kits and medical supplies to India to help the pandemic response. The shipment was distributed to hospitals in the Delhi area. (Patch)
