North Kingstown Water Restrictions Started July 1
Hand-watering of flowers and vegetable gardens is allowed anytime, but restrictions are place on use of sprinklers and irrigation systems.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI—Police posted a notice on Facebook to remind residents about annual water restrictions in effect from July 1 to Sept. 1. The restrictions apply to customers of the municipal water system. No watering of lawns is allowed on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Households to the east of Post Road/ Route 1 can water on Monday and Thursday. Households to the west can water on Tuesday and Friday.
