Woonsocket Police Identify Man Found Dead In His Apartment

WOONSOCKET, RI — Woonsocket police have identified the man who was found dead in his apartment early Thursday morning as Adam Castonguay, 43.

Officers responded to the apartment at 41 Village Road at approximately 1:30 a.m. for reports of a disturbance and found Castonguay dead inside.

Police say the medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide and said they are actively looking for a suspect. The suspect's name has not been released but police say the suspect and the victim knew each other well.

The incident remains under investigation.
