Woonsocket Police Investigate 'Shooting/Disturbance' Sunday
The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. near River and Sayles.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Woonsocket Police are investigating a shooting reported around 1:45 a.m. Sunday. According to Capt. Michael Lemoine, the incident happened near Sayles and River streets.
"A-yet to be identified- individual, not associated with the original disturbance. fired several rounds from a small caliber pistol into the air," he said. "No injuries or victims have come forward. Most subjects on scene were uncooperative. The incident remains under investigation."

Investigating a disturbance/shooting that happened approx 2:00am in area of Sayles and River Sts. At this time, no victim(s) have been identified, located, or come forward. No injuries. No arrests made as yet—we continue to investigate. Anyone w/ info should call detectives.
