Woonsocket Police Investigating Triple Stabbing, Assault

The stabbing took place early Sunday morning following an earlier altercation in Providence.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Woonsocket police are investigating a triple stabbing that took place early Sunday morning at 710 Morin Heights, reported The Providence Journal.

Police said they arrived on scene to find a man bleeding and suffering from a head injury. The victim told police the three individuals who jumped him fled. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

During the investigation, police were contacted by Landmark Medical Center, which said it had three stabbing victims and one in critical condition.

None of the victims filed a formal complaint, but Woonsocket police said they charged one, Jose Hernandez Aquino, 24, of Woonsocket, with disorderly conduct.

Police say the assault initially happened at a nightclub in Providence, which led to a retaliation in Woonsocket.
