My name is Carleigh Hoy, and I currently work at DHG as a senior tax associate. I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Latin and Greek languages as well as with a masters degree in accounting. After graduation, I began working for DHG and have since stepped into a couple other roles including our office’s chairs of our Impact (Corporate Social Responsibility) Committee and Emerging Leaders common interest group. I also serve on the board for Charitable Society of Charleston and Charleston Young Professionals.

My first event with Charleston Young Professionals was the 2019 annual kick-off event at The Alley. There I met so many amazing people who had the same goals and passions for their professional careers as me, while also wanting to mix in a bit of fun. I knew that this was the group for me, and I continued my involvement with the Chamber by participating in the Leadership Discovery program.

I am so thankful that CYP has not only provided a space to get to know like-minded peers but has also allowed me to meet and directly interact with leaders of our community and local businesses. I could not have imagined how fast my professional network and confidence level have grown through my CYP membership in just a couple of years.
