Debate Planned for SC42 Democratic Candidates

The South Carolina Democratic Party announced plans for a debate between the six Democratic candidates for the Senate District 42 Special Election. 

The debate will be at Aug. 6 at 7:00pm, the South Carolina Democratic Party will host a debate on the issues with all candidates running in the Democratic Primary for the Senate District 42 Special Election. 

Emmanuel Ferguson, Herbert Fielding, Marlon Kimpson, Margaret Rush, Bob Thompson and Maurice Washington will participate in the debate in advance of the special primary election on August 13th.

Trident Technical College will host the event in Conference Center at Main Campus, in the Complex for Economic Development. The address is 7000 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.

The debate will be moderated by News 2's Carolyn Murray and is free and open to the public.
