Prepare to stop if you're going to be driving Folly Road Saturday night.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office, Charleston Police Department, S.C. Highway Patrol and Folly Beach Public Safety will be conducting a driver's license checkpoint on Folly Road near Sol Legare Road overnight Saturday.
The checkpoint will operate from 11 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday, according to a CCSO statement. Drivers should be aware that several law enforcement officers will be on foot as well as in vehicles in the area while the checkpoint is operating.
