Folly Beach Shrimp Company is hosting a fundraiser for a local law enforcement officer in the hospital with severe burns.
Staff Sgt. Harold Veronda was burned over 65 percent of his body on June 2, 2013. Veronda is also a Marine veteran of Desert Storm.
The fundraiser will be held from 3 - 7 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at the Folly Beach Shrimp Company at 11 Center St., Folly Beach. A $20 wristband, purchased at the door, includes live music, special drink prices and a cook out. A silent auction is also planned. All proceeds will go to the Veronda family.
Bud Light is sponsoring the fundraiser.
