The only 5K in Charleston featuring the hoards of zombies, rUNdead is returning in October and organizers are kicking off their registration drive with a bowling party Thursday, Aug. 8.
The party starts at 7 p.m. at Sparians River Bowl at 613 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. in Mount Pleasant. Registered runners who show up as zombies get a free game of bowling, or bring two canned goods or pay $5 to be "zombified"Â on the spot.
In addition to the free game, those in costume will be able to participate in a costume contest
